“We’ve ramped everything up pretty good,” New Jersey coach Lindy Ruff said Friday. “It’s really about doing enough reps and getting him comfortable, so you go day by day and we’ll see where he is over the next few days.”

After back-to-back games against the Ducks and Kings, the Devils wrap up their five-game road trip against the San Jose Sharks on Monday and the Seattle Kraken on Thursday.
